About the service – description of function and design
The Portfolio Service is Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken's SEB Helsinki Branch’s digital channel for Private Wealth Management as well as Institutional Asset Management clients. It´s primary purpose is to be a digital channel for client reporting but is used also to gather client information (e.g. AML and MiFID). The service contains information about the client´s holdings in SEB´s custody as well as transactions and performance. It also contains forms including client information, from which we collect mandatory data about the client.
Main features include:
- A dropdown menu to select portfolio
- A dropdown menu to select language
- Login and logout
- An overview page which is where you go when you have logged in
- Portfolio holding information
- Transactions and payments
- Realized gains and losses
- Portfolio performance

The Portfolio Service is responsive and works on computers, tablets, and mobiles. It is developed with a focus on clear structure, simple navigation, and support for assistive technologies in accordance with accessibility requirements.
How the Portfolio Service works for different needs
For users who are blind or have visual impairments
- Screen readers and magnification software work fairly well with the service content.
- Keyboard navigation is supported.
- Sufficient contrast between text and background.
- Text can be enlarged without loss of content or clarity.
- The site structure is semantically correct with headings, lists, and forms.
- Features are accessible and usable via keyboard and screen reader.
Known issues:
- Some PDF documents on the site are not fully accessible to screen readers and other assistive technologies.
- Graphs are missing corresponding tables which make them impossible to use with screen reader.
- When zoomed in (400%) you cannot tab to the log out-button.
- “From/To”-label associated to one input field (From) whereas the second input field (To) has no associated label.
- In the form through which we gather so called “KYC” (Know Your Customer) information about the client, it is currently not possible to skip sections, which makes navigating with screen reader quite slow.
For users who are deaf or with hearing impairments
- No sound is required to use the website.
For users with reduced mobility
- It is possible to navigate and use the almost the entire service with keyboard only.
- Focus indicators clearly show the user's current position on the page.
For users with cognitive difficulties
- The website uses language that is as simple and clear as possible.
- Structure is logical and consistent.
- Information is presented in multiple formats, such as bullet points and tables.
