Next Generation Female Leader 2020

This year's Next Generation Female Leader event will take place on Wednesday, March 18 at Restaurant Pörssi in Helsinki. SEB, together with BCG, invite 1st and 2nd year female university students to spend an inspiring evening with us over dinner. We want to encourage young women – the female leaders of tomorrow – to look for study and career opportunities with an open mind and ambitious attitude.

The Next Generation Female Leader event has been co-arranged by SEB and Boston Consulting Group since 2012. Our mission has from the very beginning been to shape a new generation of female leaders by highlighting how choices made in university shape future career opportunities.

The course of the event

We invite female students in the beginning of their studies to join us for a three course dinner filled with great discussions and inspirational speeches by our hosts and guests speakers.

The evening starts with registration and mingle. For dinner you will be seated at tables of 10. Each table will be hosted by a representative from either SEB or Boston Consulting Group. Your table host or hostess will act as facilitator of the discussions at your table. To enable even more networking and discussions we will have coffee and tea served buffet style.

Based on feedback from previous years, we believe that we have been successful in our mission. The following are a few voices from the NGFL event in earlier years.

"Thank you again for the wonderful evening! It was easy to see that you had really invested on this event and wanted to create a memorable experience for us students. I would say mission accomplished!"

"An absolutely inspiring evening, thank you so much"

"Amazing event, only positive feedback"

"Restaurant Pörssi was an amazing location for the event."

"I'm so grateful I got to be able to be a part of this amazing event, I hope I will be able to join next year as well. Been talking about the event non-stop after it, and only positive comments and thoughts have come to my mind."
