The International Trainee Programme gives a unique opportunity to gain a thorough understanding of SEB. The programme comprises three parts: a common component of various courses and an individually designed component of visits and internships and on-the-job training.
The common courses are divided into five blocks throughout the year. Some of the courses included in the programme are:
- Introduction to SEB
- Communication and negotiation skills
- Leadership training
Each trainee will work at a "home department" during the traineeship. A tutor, together with the trainee, will design a tailored education programme that will include everything from product development to field trips and practical work at units in both the home division and other SEB divisions.
Exchanges with other units in and outside the home country will naturally be part of both the common and individual programmes.
All trainees will spend one month abroad, where depends on the home division's business and location.
Who we are looking for
We are looking for graduates who have the potential, passion and desire to become future leaders within SEB. As an international trainee at SEB, you will have graduated with a degree in business, engineering or the equivalent. You have either just graduated or worked for less than a year since graduation. Since SEB's corporate language is English, you have to be fluent in written and spoken English, as well as in the local language in the country of your trainee assignment.
We are looking for people with leadership potential, driven and humble as well as business- and solution oriented. Your focus is on building relationships, together with high analytical skills and the ability to learn quickly.
