Helsinki Internship programme
Gain hands‑on experience in banking with SEB’s Helsinki Internship, offering real banking experience and personal development during your studies.
Helsinki Internship is a local programme run by SEB in Finland. The programme offers you the opportunity to familiarise yourself with SEB and the financial sector already during your studies.
The internship period at our office in central Helsinki lasts approximately five months and takes place either in the spring (from January to May) or in the autumn (from August to December).
Through the Helsinki Internship programme, you will gain valuable insight into the banking industry while also having an excellent opportunity to learn about your own strengths and interests in a positive and supportive environment.
Helsinki internship recruitment process:
- Application period annually in August–September
- Initial assessment
- First‑round interviews
- SEB Recruitment Day for selected candidates
- Recruitment decisions communicated
- Internship begins in January or August the following year
