Begin your professional path at SEB

At SEB Finland, we offer exciting opportunities for students and recent graduates through our internship and trainee programmes. These paid placements, lasting 3–9 months, give you the chance to explore SEB’s different divisions, work on real projects, and develop your expertise with guidance from experienced colleagues.

For you who studies

Helsinki Internship programme

Helsinki Internship is a local programme run by SEB in Finland. The programme offers you the opportunity to familiarise yourself with SEB and the financial sector already during your studies.

CIB Summer Internship

Our Corporate and Investment Banking division (CIB) provides services to corporate and institutional clients. Each summer it offers talented university students an excellent opportunity to work in a global banking environment over the summer and to get to know SEB as a potential future employer.

Corporate Finance Analyst Internship

The Corporate Finance Analyst Internship programme is designed especially for students who are interested in and enthusiastic about Corporate Finance roles.

For you who have graduated

International trainee programme

SEB’s International Trainee Programme is a nine‑month training programme designed for recent graduates who have completed a master’s degree.

Summer jobs

SEB occasionally offers individual summer jobs in Finland in addition to its trainee programmes. These summer positions are typically advertised on Our open positions in Finland, between January and April.

Thesis work

If you’re nearing the end of your university or polytechnic studies, you have the opportunity to complete your thesis or final project in collaboration with SEB. Project work is an excellent way to learn about the bank’s operations and meet our people. Our goal is to make the most of the opportunities that cooperation with students brings. We greatly value talented students’ knowledge and fresh perspectives.
