International Trainee Programme

SEB’s international trainee programme is a  nine‑month trainee programme offering deep insight into SEB, job rotations, training, and international opportunities for recent graduates.

Our international trainee programme runs for nine months. Around 20 trainees are accepted into the graduate programme, which is organised every other year.

The programme offers a unique opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of SEB’s various business areas. It is structured into three parts: time spent in your home department, job rotations, and training modules. After completing the trainee programme, you also have the opportunity to undertake an international placement at another SEB office.

The SEB International Trainee Programme is well suited for recent graduates in business or other university disciplines who are passionate about a career in banking. At SEB, cross-functional collaboration is seen as a key competency, and you will have the chance to practise and develop this skill throughout the programme. You will take on your own responsibilities, lead collaborative activities, and work with real business challenges to find solutions together with your colleagues.

Please note that the application period may vary from country to country.

  3. SEB Day, a recruitment event for finalists, held in February
